The 12th Battalion, CEF was an infantry battalion of the First World War Canadian Expeditionary Force. Formed in August 1914, the unit served as part of the Canadian Training Depot in England before it was reorganized and absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalion in January 1917, eventually disbanding in August 1920.
